Letizia Perillo is Full Professor and Head of the Department of Multidisciplinary Medical-Surgical and Dental Specialties, as well as Head of the Orthodontic Unit, at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Naples, Italy. She is Past Dean of the School of Dentistry and former Chair of the NEBEOP Postgraduate Orthodontic Program at the same university. She is currently President of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) and has previously served as President of both the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO) and the Mediterranean Orthodontic Integration Project (MOIP). Prof. Perillo is a member of numerous professional organizations,and serves on the editorial boards of several international scientific journals. Prof. Perillo is the author of approximately 300 scientific publications, as well as 9 books and 10 book chapters. She has been an invited speaker at international congresses in more than 30 countries.
